1. Why did you sign up for Dreamwidth?
Several interesting LJ's were moving here. It begun as name-squatting and then I kind of followed "for real"
2. Why did you choose your journal name?
Oh, I've been Dancing Moon since I was fifteen. It's the name of my first (and still active) Hotmail account, it's my name on Google, Yahoo and a bunch of forums, and LJ too of course. I was absolutely going to be Dancing Moon here
3. Do you crosspost? Why or why not?
Yes, to Livejournal, because there are still friends who are active only there. I have no particular feeling for either blogging site, though I no longer give money to LJ after they've faffed around so much
4. What do you do online when you're not on DW?
Read fic, basically. And Facebook, darn thing is a bit too addictive
5. How about when you're not on the computer?
Read books =D
+ all the usual stuff, y'know. Work, study, sleep on occasion
6. What do you wish people who read your journal knew about you?
Eh, idk. If anything, I probably wish they knew less so that I'd be harder to trace?
7. What is your favorite community on Dreamwidth?

It's Jadeite. He's also been with me for many years, I even used to have a webshrine for him. I didn't use him as a default icon for the first years on LJ, that started on forums, but since around... 2005? it's been my default.
11. What features do you think Dreamwidth should have that it doesn't currently?
More pre-made layouts, perhaps? I'm pretty satisfied most of the time. But the "like" button that was up for discussion seemed neat
12. What do you consider the five most "telling" interests from the list on your profile? Why?
13. Do you have any unique interests on your user profile? What are they? How'd they get there?
14. Did you have a gateway fandom? Still in it? Why or why not? Is there a community for it on DW?

School >_> I really like the literary fandoms too, have done that for a bit over two years now? It's been overshadowed by my burning obsession with Hetalia, but that one is... not so much lessening as slowing down.
See, with Hetalia, I need to be actively in the fandom to keep the interest up. With book fandoms - Sherlock Holmes (books, Granada, Beebverse; in that order, mostly), Jeeves and Wooster, Good Omens, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Discworld - I can stay a lurker and just dive an afternoon now and then in with just as much enthusiasm as the last time, even if it goes a month or so between occasions.

Hah. Most everything, this year, that's why it's so much literature talk and so little anything else in my DW.
