I've tried to poke the OTW for a con visit, but they don't answer. Now, I totally get if there's no Swede around who is active, it's not like we can afford foreign guest tickets (alas) but I wish I got an answer. At the same time, both my mail and Facebook is bugging out on me, so I'm worried that they have somehow answered and I just missed it! Teh stress

But other than that, the work with B.L.Y.G. proceeds nicely! Today we went and took photos of the venue and it's really absolutely gooorgeous. And so much space *starry eyes*

What kind of con visit? I know there are OTW info packets that we can take around to cons we're already going to. I think the Communications committee is in charge of those. What e-mail/contact form did you use? It could just be that whichever committee is really busy and hasn't responded yet.

Well, that depends on what you/they want to do? We're game for anything from getting sent flyers to put out, to the OTW holding a talk about what they are or hosting some kind of info table

I left the facebook comment on the 4:th of April and I think I sent the form in about two weeks before that? Though I'm not completely certain of the time, it might have been longer. And I totally understand if everyone's busy and wouldn't have time investigating a little con in Sweden, it's just hard to know if I should try again or wait and see or count the OTW out due to distance etc :)

Huh. I think that's the right one. That should go to a group e-mail address, so somebody will have read it. They're probably just busy. :(

I'll wait and see then. At least we have loads of rooms, so even if someone calls up in the last minute, there's space for some little something ^^;
