When I was in Berlin recently, we found a nice little tea shop. I bought some tea there, among others, a white tea with peach in. It smells divine and had large, curly leaves. Impressed me enough to take a chance, despite white tea usually being a disappointment to me.

Please note, that I have not visited any fine tea house and tried their white tea (is there even one in Stockholm...?) but I have been to cafés where the tea is, usually, good. The white teas weren't, they tasted bland and grassy. Beh.

Reading the instructions carefully, I allowed the tea to cool off, and seep for the time specified on the packaging. And - aha! That lovely peach fragrance is still present, but more importantly, the taste is soooo mild. It's still very light, reminds me more of herbal teas than what I usually drink, but it does taste something.

So, note to self - if you go into a café and they prepare their tea with hot water from the espresso machine. Run, don't walk, but RUN from their white teas.

...who does that, anyway? Espresso water is like 110 degrees, not even black tea benefits from that.
